The Coral Waterfall Silver Necklace combines a flowing, twisted silver form with pieces of recycled Victorian coral.
The coral has been given a new setting within a sculptural silver ribbon, creating an unusual contrast between the organic shapes and warm colour of the coral and the cool, flowing form of the silver. The chain passes through the silver structure, allowing the necklace to hang and move naturally when worn.
I particularly like the sense of movement in this piece — the silver seems to fall and twist around the coral, giving the necklace its waterfall-like character.
